The Aquarian is a tabloid-size newsprint publication, published quarterly and distributed free in Winnipeg, Canada and beyond. Holistic health (natural, complementary, alternative) and progressive environmental, social, cultural, political and spiritual issues are the magazine’s major focus. The editors are mostly looking for original feature articles, topical opinion pieces, interviews, reviews and book excerpts. Features and interviews run 1500-2500 words; op-eds, 500-1500 words; and reviews, 300-800 words. For original articles, pay is between between 2.5 and 10 cents per final edited word.
