SAIL magazine

SAIL magazine is designed for everyone who sails–aboard a one-design boat or an offshore racer, aboard a daysailer on a tiny lake or a cruiser crossing great oceans and great distances. SAIL teaches sailors of all abilities, beginner to expert, how to improve their sailing skills, equip their boats for more effective sailing, and enjoy sailing more. Word length is 1,500-3,000 words per article. Payments vary depending upon the type of article, approx. between $200 and $800/article.

Adventure Kayak magazine

Adventure Kayak magazine celebrates all the adventures of kayak touring, from a tour through the local bay to an arctic expedition to all the diversity in between. Adventure Kayak’s content has an international scope. Adventure Kayak publishes three issues annually. Cruising World Magazine

Cruising World Magazine welcomes author inquiries and unsolicited manuscripts. Manuscripts submitted for Feature consideration (center of the magazine) should be written in the first person and not exceed approximately 2,500 words. Manuscripts submitted for consideration as Non-features (technical articles and general interest, front and back of the magazine) should not exceed 2,000 words. Payment varies depending on the type of article, ranging from $25 to $200 for short, newsworthy items and $300 to $1,000 for technical and feature articles.
