Freelance Editor

Compose.ly is looking for awesome editors who love digital content as much as we do! An ideal candidate should be able to edit and deliver consistent, high-quality content across industries for a variety of clients (including Fortune 500 companies).

Requirements

• Intimate familiarity with English
• A bachelor’s degree or higher
• Familiarity with the AP style

What would make you stand out:

• A background in SEO and content marketing
• A degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, or other relevant fields
• Extensive editing experience

Responsibilities

• Rework, edit, and/or proof blog articles, white papers, web copy, and more across industries
• Manage multiple client projects at a time, including corresponding with individual writers
• Use Compose.ly platform to track, organize, and upload projects
• Request revisions and coordinate client-requested revisions with writers
• Provide a rating and constructive feedback to writers
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in SEO and content marketing
