Young Rider is an equestrian magazine for young riders which teaches them how to ride and look after their horses properly. It offers riding instruction, horse care information and horse interest features. Word length: 800-1,000 words for horse-themed articles and realistic stories. The editors also buy funny stories, with a bit of conflict, which appeal to the 13-year-old age group. They should be written in the third person, and about kids. Payment: up to $200/article.
