Visual Arts News is the only magazine dedicated to contemporary visual art in Atlantic Canada. Although our focus is mainly Nova Scotian art and artists, we also accept stories about Atlantic Canadian, national and international art events that we believe are of interest to our readership. Features (1,000-3,000 words), exhibition reviews (500-750 words) and artist profiles (500-1,500 words) are the most popular stories we accept. Writer’s fees range from $100 to $150 per article, payable upon acceptance from the editor.
