Northword Magazine (Canada)

Northword Magazine is the only independent, regional magazine that covers northern BC, from border to sea. As a general guideline, a cover story is in excess of 1,600 words, a news feature around 1,100, creative writing around 800, column 600, and a brief 100-300. Editors negotiate rates for each piece. Payment is normally sent out within 30 days of receipt of invoice. Payment covers use in both the print and web formats and is normally sent out within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
