Blue Ridge Country is a bi-monthly, full-color magazine embracing the feel and spirit of the Blue Ridge region–the traditions and recipes, the husbandry and farming, the country stores and bed-and-breakfast inns, the things to visit and learn about. Word length: 750-2000 words for feature articles, and 100-300 words for departments. Payment is from $25 (for department shorts and book reviews) up to $250 for major pieces. Original photos are paid $50 per photo. Payment is upon publication.
