The Massachusetts Review

The Massachusetts Review is one of the nation’s leading literary magazines. The editors welcome articles and essays on art, music, and drama; analyses of trends in literature, science, philosophy, and public affairs. The editors consider one short story per submission, a maximum of 30 pages or 8000 words. A poetry submission may consist of up to 6 poems. Pays: fifty cents per line for poetry ($25 minimum per poem); and $50 for an essay or work of fiction.
