Rapid magazine covers all aspects of whitewater paddlesports. We regularly run how-to features covering specific topics in depth, such as river running, teaching kids, expedition planning, or day trips. How-to features are broken up into text boxes and sidebars covering a variety of topics such as background, tips, gear, destinations, top 10 lists, etc. Feature articles are up to 2,000 words in length and must be accompanied by professional-quality photos. The editors pay contributors a pre-negotiated rate of up to $0.20 per word depending on length, content and quality. Buys first North American print rights.
