Need someone to film Anthony Roman's script for a Film Fest (Backyart)
20 Mar 2010 at 2:23am
Hey Everyone -

So, there is a film fest going on - and we have until Monday, March 22nd @ 1pm to make a movie. Anthony Roman, who is a wonderful writer and a major Backyart vet really wanted to participate, but had to go out of town for the weekend and didn't have a camera.

That being said, he wrote an awesome script - 5 pages, 3 characters, two locations - totally manageable.

If anyone is interested in helping him get it off the page and onto the screen that would be amazing. No pay, but lots of fun and definitely free drinks at the screening on March 27th @ ... ( cont'd )

SPRING AND SUMMER WRITING WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS AND TEENAGERS (Park Slope)
18 Mar 2010 at 11:27am
"Brooke Shaffner's workshop inspired me to continue writing. Other writing workshops I've taken left me at a loss afterwards about how to move forward with my work. This time, I have Brooke's perceptive critiques to guide me through the revision process. At the same time, Brooke consistently pushed us to figure out what hid at the center of our stories, to get down to the 'heart of the matter.'" - Caitlin Chandler, Sackett St... ( cont'd )

(EGL 117 W) STANFORD Continuing Studies Online Writer's Studio

Fundamentally, creative nonfiction is the making of art from the everyday stuff of our lives.
