Abbey Hill Literary invites entries for its 4th Quarter 2009 Quick Lit Challenges. Visit www.ahliterary.com for details, review the writing challenges posted there, and write a story incorporating those challenges. Prize List ($US): 1st-$250, 2nd-$100, 3rd-$50, and Evolving Talent-$25. Entry fee: $10 OR $20 for entry PLUS critique returned within 45 days of contest close. Electronic entries encouraged, current deadline November 30, 2009. Winners notified late December. Most genres accepted, contest open to both published and unpublished authors. Winning entries, including author's name and a brief bio, will be posted the first week of January 2010 for up to 180 days.
