The University of New Orleans produces the winning entry. Plays should run no more than one hour in length and must not have been previously produced, published or performed, including in a formal staged reading. “Workshopped” readings are accepted provided that the audience was limited to participants of that workshop. Production criteria include scripts requiring minimal technical support for a 100-seat theater.
