A prize of $1,000.00 and publication of a single poem in Japanese and English by a woman, awarded to a woman translator. This competition is open to all women writers for a translation of a poem by a Japanese woman into English, regardless of the translator’s nationality. Permission to translate the poem submitted is the translator’s responsibility. Manuscripts may be: A minimum of 9 (nine) lines and a maximum of 30 (thirty) lines, on one page.
