Established in memory of James J. Nicholson, a longtime member of the Pelham Public Library Board, this political poetry contest is comprised of three categories: The Middle School Student category open to students of Pelham Middle School, grades 6-8 The High School Student category open to students of Pelham Memorial High School, grades 9-12 The Adult category open to anyone age 18 years and older, who is a resident of Westchester County, NY Prizes are $500.00 for the Adult category, and $150.00 for the High School Student category, and $100.00 for the Middle School Student Category.
