Grit magazine
Summary: Grit celebrates the intergenerational bonds among those who live on the land with spirit and style – a legacy of self-sufficiency, audacious ingenuity and pragmatic problem solving that gave this country its backbone and continues to shape its unique character. Grit publishes feature-length articles on topics of interest to those living in rural areas, on farms or ranches, or those interested in the rural lifestyle. Articles will be from 800 to 1,500 words. Rates vary depending on experience and expertise. Generally, rates are 35 cents per published word for feature articles and department articles. Payment will include three contributor’s copies.
