I have always been interested in writing but up until now, did not have to opportunity to pursue this passion. I am interested in writing non-fiction, "real life" articles for magazines, websites, newspapers etc.
I must admit that I am feeling a little anxious and overwhelmed because I am uncertain about the things I should do to accomplish my goals ie. getting paid to publish my articles.I have read the Writers Market for 2009 and did some research on some publications that I am interested in trying but am unable to actually act. I know that I need to submit query letters and write the articles. I have a lot to say but so far I just have several articles that have been started but not completed.
I guess I need some inspiration and reassurance that I am not just wasting my time but can build a successful freelance career.
