Online Research 101:
As a nonfiction writer/photographer, I am seeking a comprehensive overview of how to start and conduct an organized online research program. Basic sources include US Government and State agencies, universities, databases, libraries at all levels, corporations, the private sector, etc.
Sorry for such a broad request, but I’m really seeking starting points that I can expand and investigate further on my own.
My fields of interest include: - popularized science (mostly meteorology and oceanography), environmental, maritime, geographical, historical, biographical and traffic safety themes.
Helpful leads, tips, suggestions, etc will be greatly appreciated.
