working to eliminate child and youth sexual abuse and exploitation.
On November 20, Universal Children's Day, Beyond Borders will recognize six
journalists (English/French Print and English/French Electronic as well as an
English/French student award) for their contribution to raising awareness about
child sexual abuse and exploitation.
If you have produced a
documentary or print feature on this subject we would like to consider your
work for an award ($500). An awards ceremony will take place in Winnipeg and
the winners will be provided with air travel and hotel accommodation.
The deadline for nomination is September 15, 2009. Works produced or published
between September 1, 2008 and August 31, 2009 are eligible for
consideration.
