- Price - The decent price range for ezine articles are from $5 to $8 per piece. (The price is lower for article rewrites.) Website copy commands a much higher price, with some website copywriters being hired on a profit-sharing basis. Still, others are paid per hour or per piece.
- Testimonials - For obvious reasons, people who have more testimonials on their profile stand a greater chance of getting hired than those who don't have. In the mind of your potential client, testimonials stand for reliability and skill.
- Sample Work - You don't have to send your entire writing portfolio, but you should at least send a sample of your writing or two when you're finding clients.
